Associate General Counsel

📋 Description

• Own all corporate and board governance activities, including board minutes and resolutions, entity
• Manage and protect Givebutter's intellectual property portfolio, including trademarks, copyrights
• Own Givebutter's insurance program, including D&O, cyber liability, E&O, and general
• Lead Givebutter's internal AI governance framework in partnership with PDE, People leadership, and
• Serve as the primary legal advisor to the People team on employment law matters, including hiring
• Monitor and advise on legislative and regulatory developments that affect Givebutter's business

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active bar membership in good standing in your state of residence and/or California, New York, or
• 8–12 years of legal experience, with a meaningful combination of top-tier law firm training and
• Demonstrated expertise in corporate governance, intellectual property management, and employment law
• Strong executive presence; proven ability to advise senior leadership and boards with clarity
• Experience managing commercial insurance programs and advising on enterprise risk
