Associate General Counsel

📋 Description

• Negotiate and draft strategic commercial agreements with partners.
• Build and maintain playbooks, policies, and templates for bank/partner transactions.
• Develop solutions to scale Flex's legal capabilities via training and technology.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, product, finance, and partnerships.
• Help build a best-in-class in-house commercial legal function.
• Keep the department and business updated on laws and regulations impacting the commercial side.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years post-JD transactional experience (law firm or in-house). Top firm a plus.
• Experience drafting/negotiating data privacy terms (CCPA, GLBA).
• Fintech/payments/consumer credit experience a strong plus.
• Track record leading complex transactions end-to-end with minimal supervision.
• Hybrid work in office 3 days/week.
• JD from an accredited law school and US bar in good standing.
