Associate General Counsel, Content, Music, & Marketing

📋 Description

• Advise executives and business leaders across Content, Music, Marketing, Global Operations, and
• Translate complex legal and commercial issues into clear recommendations and practical paths forward
• Counsel the business on content expansion, creative partnerships, and commercial initiatives
• Advise on the legal approach to AI use across content, marketing, and commercial workflows
• Lead transactions involving content development, production, distribution, music licensing, talent
• Oversee rights clearance, content standards, deal tracking, royalty reporting, renewals, audits

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years of relevant legal experience, including significant in-house or senior law firm experience
• Significant experience negotiating sophisticated commercial agreements
• Significant experience with content development, production, and distribution, including music
• Strong command of advertising and consumer-protection laws
• Experience supporting a subscription, platform, digital media, retail, hardware, or consumer-facing
• Excellent judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills
