Associate Managing Editor

📋 Description

• Manage the end-to-end publication lifecycle for assigned journals, ensuring accurate and timely
• Act as a primary operational contact for journal-related matters, coordinating with editors
• Support the onboarding and transition of newly acquired journals into editorial management
• Monitor publication timelines, identify potential delays or risks, and coordinate appropriate
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across India, the UK, the US, and other relevant
• Partner with editors to improve manuscript flow, turnaround times, editorial planning, journal

🎯 Requirements

• Postgraduate degree in Life Sciences, Medical Sciences, Publishing, or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years of experience in scholarly journal publishing, preferably within an editorial or journal
• Experience managing journals across the publication lifecycle, including editorial workflows and
• Hands-on experience with journal development activities, indexing applications, and strategies
• Strong understanding of scholarly publishing processes, peer review management, journal
• Knowledge of Impact Factor, citation performance, and other journal performance metrics.
