Audio Engineer, Live Video

📋 Description

• Own audio design and A1 execution for complex broadcasts, live stage events, podcasts, and critical
• Build and operate redundant program, stream, multitrack, camera, backup-recorder, and archival
• Mix full-duplex speech-to-speech audio between humans and AI models
• Design, commission, standardize, document, and improve audio signal flow for studios, control
• Rapidly assess unfamiliar venues and design reliable systems around acoustic, power, network
• Lead rigorous preproduction: technical designs, input lists, patch plans, frequency plans

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years engineering complex live, broadcast, and studio production, including high-profile
• Proven experience serving as A1 when failures are immediately visible and time for sophisticated
• Expert command of gain structure, routing, EQ, dynamics, automixing, feedback control, real time
• Deep experience designing and troubleshooting redundant program, stream, multitrack, camera
• Advanced proficiency with networked audio and DSP systems such as Dante, AVB, SMPTE ST 2110, Q-SYS
• Strong IP-networking knowledge, including clocking, multicast, VLANs, QoS, and diagnosing failures
