Automation & Controls Engineer I

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement automated systems and solutions for new manufacturing initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and define technical
• Program PLCs, DCS, MES, and SCADA systems using IEC61131-3 and HDNA standards
• Develop HMI programs for machine interactions including alarms, recipe selection, and user login
• Integrate control devices, sensors, and actuators using network protocols such as EtherCAT
• Conduct testing and validation of control systems, including FAT and SAT

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automation Engineering or equivalent
• At least 1+ years of work experience in a manufacturing environment as a controls engineer or
• Intermediate analytical, technical, and project management skills
• Experience with PLC programming (IEC61131-3), including Omron Sysmac Studio, Allen Bradley Studio
• Desired experience with collaborative robots (Cobots)
• Basic knowledge of communication protocols (SAP/PQS MII, MES, OEE, SCADA, etc.)

🎁 Benefits

• Annual base salary range: $78,000 - $97,000
• Bonus target range: 10-15%
