Avionics Test Systems Engineer, Ground Systems

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and integrate ground systems for engine test and launch
• Collaborate with vehicle, propulsion, avionics, software, and test teams
• Oversee fabrication, bring-up, and validation of test systems
• Create ICDs and engineering drawings aligning ground and flight hardware
• Ensure systems are compliant and operable under high-stakes conditions

🎯 Requirements

• BS/MS/PhD in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering
• 1+ years designing and deploying test or electrical integration systems
• Strong knowledge of electrical signal integrity, grounding, shielding, and power
• Hands-on experience designing, building, and commissioning electromechanical ground systems
• Familiarity with Ethernet, RS-422, CAN, MIL-STD-1553
• Familiarity with data acquisition/control platforms such as NI or Beckhoff
