Backend Engineer

📋 Description

• Manage and build out backend server apps and components powering the Chariot platform.
• Contribute to API/backend architecture and design; help define team standards.
• Generate ideas for new initiatives and technologies.
• Improve real-time and analytical monitoring and alerting to study user behavior.
• Communicate effectively with founders, product managers, and other software developers.
• Manage and execute against project plans within an Agile/Scrum environment.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of software development experience in one or more languages.
• 2+ years backend development experience building scalable systems.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; relevant work experience considered.
• Proficient with Go, Node, Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes.
• Experience with Postgres, REST APIs, and gRPC.
• AWS experience for secure, scalable apps a plus.
