Backend Engineer, Partnerships

📋 Description

• Build and maintain backend services that power Traffic Source partnerships: affiliate and referral
• Take new partnerships inquiries from intake through to production — clarify the requirement with
• Integrate affiliate links with Xsolla Web Shops so partner-driven traffic is tracked end to end and
• Read a partner's API documentation and build against it; where a partner needs to build against us
• Build internal tooling and scripts for partner onboarding, bulk link generation, performance data
• Investigate and resolve attribution and tracking discrepancies together with Analytics and Customer

🎯 Requirements

• 1–4 years of professional backend development experience, or a strong portfolio of personal
• Working proficiency in at least one backend language — Go, PHP, Python, Node.js / TypeScript, or
• Solid SQL and relational database fundamentals (schema design, joins, indexing basics).
• Good understanding of HTTP, REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, and API authentication (API keys, OAuth 2.0).
• Comfortable with Git and working in a code-review culture.
• Able to debug a problem you did not write — read logs, reproduce, isolate, and explain the cause.
