Big Data Engineer

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines focused on our core stack of Snowflake and AWS
• Build modular, scalable data models using dbt Core, designing a Medallion architecture (Bronze
• Work cross-functionally with business stakeholders to understand source systems and downstream
• Write reusable, efficient, and scalable code in Python and SQL
• Enforce strict data governance and security best practices, including implementing RBAC across
• Implement data quality control by establishing automated testing frameworks, data observability

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 3-5 years of industry experience
• Extensive experience with Snowflake and proven expertise in designing scalable data solutions in AWS
• Deep expertise in dbt Core, Medallion architecture principles, dimensional modeling techniques, and
• Proven experience with finance data modeling and a strong understanding of enterprise ERP systems
• Strong understanding of data governance, security protocols, and RBAC to securely handle and
• Advanced SQL skills for querying databases and proficiency in Python for data processing
