Bookkeeper (US GAAP)

📋 Description

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for multiple business entities.
• Record and categorize financial transactions, prepare journal entries, and perform routine account
• Ensure bookkeeping records are complete, organized, and consistent with applicable U.S. accounting
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring transactions are recorded
• Track outstanding payments and receivables and support the resolution of discrepancies.
• Perform monthly bank, credit card, and other account reconciliations with a high level of accuracy.

🎯 Requirements

• At least 7 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
• A minimum of 2 recent years working within an accounting firm or CPA practice.
• Expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
• Strong understanding of U.S. bookkeeping practices, accounting conventions, and financial
• Demonstrated experience maintaining financial records, categorizing transactions, managing accounts
• Familiarity with month-end and year-end closing processes and bookkeeping report preparation.
