Bookkeeping Specialist

📋 Description

• Support clients with full-cycle bookkeeping activities, including accounts receivable, accounts
• Maintain accurate and complete financial records while ensuring accounting deadlines and month-end
• Prepare and interpret financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements
• Apply a strong understanding of cash versus accrual accounting and fundamental bookkeeping
• Work directly with clients to understand their bookkeeping requirements, answer questions, resolve
• Help streamline month-end and year-end processes by identifying opportunities to improve

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of professional bookkeeping experience, including significant full-charge bookkeeping
• Demonstrated experience with both Canadian and U.S. bookkeeping practices, including inventory
• Strong knowledge of accounting fundamentals, financial reporting, reconciliations, payroll
• Experience using bookkeeping and accounting platforms such as QuickBooks Online/Desktop, Xero
• Strong ability to create, understand, and interpret financial reports and translate financial
• High level of technological proficiency and the ability to quickly learn new accounting, office
