Business Control Manager

📋 Description

• Own the control strategy and coverage view for assigned portfolios, using business activities
• Evaluate new initiatives and the existing environment through reviews of process or product
• Lead control design and implementation with business and control owners, establishing clear
• Assess control readiness, coordinate owner attestations, and determine whether controls meet the
• Lead control responses to incidents, issues, complaints, and findings by connecting root causes to
• Maintain reliable control records and use coverage, implementation, validation, and exception data

🎯 Requirements

• 7 or more years of experience in business controls, regulatory compliance, operational risk, audit
• Experience independently owning a complex portfolio or control environment, setting priorities
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate business activities and control coverage, distinguish control gaps
• Hands-on experience designing or enhancing controls with business, product, engineering
• Sound knowledge of consumer financial protection and regulatory risk, including EFTA and Regulation
• Strong judgment, influence, and communication skills, including the ability to challenge senior
