Business Risk Officer

📋 Description

• Identify any potential blind spots in processes and controls, and suggest commercial
• Facilitate pre-launch and new activity initiatives/reviews, tracking items to closure and
• Facilitate execution of risk self assessments and similar exercises within the non-financial risk
• Event/incident, issues, and remediations management - ensuring that incidents and issues are
• Develop and enhance iteratively KPIs/KRIs to be monitored by yourself, product/process owners, and
• Coordinate interactions and responses between Product and Operations teams vs. other stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• Have at least 5 - 7+ years of experience in a banking, fintech, or other financial services firms
• Track record of balancing risk, compliance, and customer experience in cross-functional settings
• Excellent communication skills to simplify complex business, reg and/or risk concepts into clear
• Familiarity with Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) practices and non-financial risk frameworks
• Curious, growth-oriented, and motivated to work on risk and controls at all lifecycle stages (new
