Business Valuation Associate/Sr. Associate

📋 Description

• Execute business valuation engagements from proposal preparation through project completion
• Conduct industry research, including analysis of publicly traded comparable companies, precedent
• Analyze financial statements and supporting schedules, perform benchmarking and forensic financial
• Develop financial models and valuation analyses for entity valuations, purchase price allocations
• Prepare clear, concise valuation reports and supporting schedules that can be understood by
• Serve as a key client contact throughout engagements, coordinating the collection of financial

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related field required; a Master’s degree
• CVA or ABV certification required.
• At least 2 years of experience in private company valuation required.
• Demonstrated experience analyzing financial statements and related schedules.
• Working knowledge of economics, financial theory, and accounting principles.
• Experience with ASC 718 and/or ASC 805 preferred.
