Buyer/Planner

📋 Description

• Analyze MRP, safety stocks, reorder points, and service requirements ensuring adequate requisitions
• Collaborate with Commodity Managers & Engineering to successfully implement engineering changes
• Process requisitions into purchase orders and obtain acknowledgement from suppliers.
• Ensure the timely delivery of raw materials needed to maintain the flow of production at the pace
• Manage the procurement of materials, components, and services necessary for production.
• Ensure suppliers meet delivery requirements through regular follow-up and proactive expediting.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in purchasing, materials management, or supply management
• Bachelors’ degree or equivalent experience required. Emphasis in Business, Mathematics, Supply
• Demonstrated experience in Supply Chain Management best practices. CPSM or APICS certification
• Customer service orientated with a focus to deliver on-time results.
• Proven experience and skillset with ERP systems, including Oracle is required.
