CA Senior Liability Claims Specialist

📋 Description

• Receive and review incoming claims, confirm applicable policy coverage, and ensure timely
• Evaluate claim validity, compensability, liability, and potential exposure based on policy terms
• Investigate and manage automobile and general liability claims involving bodily injury and property
• Handle litigated claims, coordinating appropriate actions and applying sound judgment throughout
• Establish and maintain appropriate claim reserves based on estimated exposure and evolving case
• Authorize claim payments and settlement-related expenses within established reserving and delegated

🎯 Requirements

• At least five years of experience handling general liability claims, including high-exposure and/or
• At least two years of experience handling automobile liability claims.
• A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• A current adjuster’s license in the state where the position operates is required; multistate
• Experience handling claims involving municipalities is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of liability claims investigation, coverage evaluation, claim compensability
