CAD Automation Engineer

📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, and enhance CAD automation and API integration solutions using C# and C++.
• Manage SolidWorks instances running as headless, multi-process services with robust process
• Diagnose and resolve RPC errors, COM failures, application crashes, process hangs, and memory-level
• Build reliable process-pool mechanisms with health checks, automatic recovery, graceful
• Extend CAD automation capabilities including STEP export, JSON export, drawing generation, and
• Develop and maintain integrations with multiple CAD platforms, including SolidWorks, Creo, NX

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in CAD software development, CAD customization, or CAD API
• Strong production-level programming experience in C++ and C#.
• Hands-on experience with COM interop, Windows development, process management, services, RPC, and
• Deep expertise in at least one CAD development API such as SolidWorks API, Creo Toolkit, NX Open
• Understanding of CAD application limitations around multithreading, process isolation, concurrency
• Strong knowledge of STEP file formats, B-Rep geometry, solid versus surface bodies, and basic
