Caregiver (Home Care Assistant)

📋 Description

• Provide hands-on personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) to
• Assist participants with Instrumental ADLs, including but not limited to laundry, light
• Measure and document participants’ vital signs as instructed
• Act as a medical escort on vehicles to medical appointments, supporting participants with safe
• Assist the Rehabilitation team by carrying out home exercise programs as indicated in the care plan
• Provide translation services as needed

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS)/First Aid Certification required
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred
• Bilingual preferred (Mandarin, Cantonese, or Spanish highly preferred)
• Must be registered with Home Care Registry (HCA) prior to start date
• Must obtain CPR and First Aid certification within 180 days of hire and maintain certification
