Caregiver (Home Care Assistant)

📋 Description

• Provide hands-on personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) in
• Assist with Instrumental ADLs such as laundry, light housekeeping, shopping, and meal preparation
• Measure and document participants' vital signs as instructed
• Act as medical escort on vehicles to medical appointments, supporting safe transfer in and out of
• Assist Rehabilitation team by carrying out home exercise programs as indicated in care plan
• Provide translation services as needed

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS)/First Aid Certification required
• CPR and First Aid certification within 180 days of hire (preferred upon hire)
• Must be registered with Home Care Registry (HCA) prior to start date
• 1+ years of caregiving experience with elderly or senior patients highly preferred
