Civil/Structural Designer

📋 Description

• Perform structural inspections of existing facility steel structures and fireproofing in accordance
• Prepare conceptual drawings, sketches, and material take-offs for concrete and structural steel.
• Develop detailed civil and structural drawings for industrial facilities, including foundations
• Support engineering teams by reviewing vendor shop drawings and fabrication drawings for accuracy
• Collaborate with civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers and designers throughout
• Update drawings based on redline markups and field observations, ensuring design documentation

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma required; an associate degree from a technical trade school is preferred.
• At least five years of civil and structural drafting and design experience, including structural
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and the ability to apply them to engineering design work.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D, AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and CadWorx.
• Experience with 3D structural modeling and the ability to produce accurate technical drawings and
• Familiarity with CAD systems, Microsoft Office applications, and other relevant design software.
