Cloud Engineering Manager

📋 Description

• Lead and develop a growing engineering team, improving development velocity and operational quality
• Establish and maintain effective engineering and operations processes
• Define and monitor team health indicators
• Represent the engineering team with customers, stakeholders, product teams, and partners
• Ensure teams remain aligned with priorities, milestones, deliverables, and commitments
• Oversee managed service operations and ensure SLAs are achieved

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field or equivalent
• Professional experience in software delivery with Python, Go, C, C++, Java, or similar, and/or
• Demonstrated experience with OpenStack
• Understanding of engineering practices including testing and maintainable code
• Experience with Linux system administration (Ubuntu or Debian advantageous)
• Understanding of cloud topologies, technologies, and distributed systems
