Coating/Painting & Welding Inspector

📋 Description

• Monitor advanced surface preparation and protective coating applications across steel, concrete
• Undertake coating inspections in fixed coating facilities (shops) as well as complex industrial
• Inspect surface cleanliness and profiles using industry standards (such as SSPC/NACE surface
• Inspect specialized application methods and systems, including pipeline coatings, sheet linings
• Evaluate specialized generic coating types such as passive fireproofing, anti-fouling coatings
• Conduct root-cause coating failure analysis (blistering, delamination, rust-back, cathodic

🎯 Requirements

• NACE level 2 and CWB level 2 certification (MUST)
• Minimum of seven (7) years Coating / Painting & welding inspections experience
• Three (3) of these years should be in Quality Assurance / vendor surveillance / shop inspections
• Industrial experience in Oil & gas / Power & Utility / Construction / Manufacturing, etc.
• Inspection experience of pressure vessels, heat exchanger shells and channels, air coolers
• Experienced in witnessing NDE test (UT, PT, MT, RT, etc.) and verifying test reports
