Coating/Painting & Welding Inspector

📋 Description

• Monitor advanced surface preparation and protective coating applications across steel, concrete
• Undertake coating inspections in fixed coating facilities (shops) and complex industrial field
• Inspect surface cleanliness and profiles using industry standards (SSPC/NACE surface standards
• Inspect specialized application methods: pipeline coatings, sheet linings, brick/tile linings
• Evaluate specialized generic coating types: passive fireproofing, anti-fouling, high-heat systems
• Conduct root-cause coating failure analysis and risk-based inspection assessments

🎯 Requirements

• MUST have NACE Level 2 and CWB Level 2
• Minimum 7 years of coating/painting & welding inspection experience
• 3 of those years in Quality Assurance, vendor surveillance, or shop inspections
• Industrial experience in Oil & Gas, Power & Utility, Construction, Manufacturing
• Inspection experience of pressure vessels, heat exchanger shells and channels, air coolers
• Experience in witnessing NDE tests (UT, PT, MT, RT, etc.) and verifying test reports
