Commercial Analyst (Data Centres and Industrials)

📋 Description

• Own the project model for each opportunity - generation, BESS, flexible load, network cost; capex
• Price the offer. Turn a customer's load profile and reliability requirement into a deliverable
• Value the flex. Model storage and flexible load across wholesale, Balancing Mechanism, ancillary

🎯 Requirements

• 3-5 years in a numerate commercial role - infrastructure or renewables development, project
• Financial modelling from first principles: DCF, IRR, scenarios and sensitivities.
• Advanced knowledge of GB/European power markets, and how network and connection costs land on a
• Advanced Excel and Python.
• Able to take a messy, incomplete problem to a clear recommendation.
• Quantitative degree - economics, engineering, finance, maths, physics - or equivalent experience.
