Commercial Counsel, Sales

📋 Description

• Provide legal advice to global sales partners on transactions for Axon's products
• Structure, review and negotiate contracts for goods, services and SaaS solutions
• Lead contract negotiations and risk analyses with cross-functional teams
• Supervise Contracts Managers and maintain contract templates and playbooks
• Support regulatory compliance matters and contract process improvements
• Collaborate with attorneys, contracts staff and admin to scale legal operations

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience negotiating and managing complex commercial contracts
• Experience drafting and negotiating SaaS, IaaS and/or PaaS agreements
• Ability to act with urgency and maintain a pass-first, learning mindset
• JD and bar admission in at least one US state
• Experience negotiating international agreements; familiarity with AI tools for workflow automation
