Commercial Lawyer (Temporary)

📋 Description

• Advise internal stakeholders across the UK and Europe on commercial, legal and regulatory matters.
• Manage legal escalations and disputes from platform ops; assess risk and propose solutions.
• Review and negotiate technology, marketing, procurement and supplier contracts.
• Monitor UK/EU legislative developments; assess impact and implement changes.
• Identify legal and regulatory risks in day-to-day operations; implement mitigations.
• Prepare guidance, templates and training to improve legal awareness and compliance.

🎯 Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with at least 2 years' experience (firm or in-house).
• Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
• Generalist with strong commercial and privacy law understanding.
• Excellent communications and negotiation skills.
• Pragmatic, commercial approach; comfortable in an international environment.
• Interest in legal tech/AI; eager to adopt tools.
