Commercial Legal Counsel

📋 Description

• Own and negotiate commercial agreements (enterprise customer, vendor, partner, marketplace
• Advise Sales and go-to-market teams on deal structure, contracting strategy, risk
• Translate legal issues into clear options and recommendations
• Build and improve templates, playbooks, fallback positions, approval thresholds, intake processes
• Partner with Security, Privacy, Product, Engineering on customer commitments involving data
• Work with Finance and Revenue Operations on pricing, revenue, procurement, insurance

🎯 Requirements

• Law degree and active bar membership
• Meaningful experience advising technology companies on commercial transactions
• Experience scaling a legal function or contracting program in a startup/high-growth environment
• Strong judgment distinguishing material business risk
• Record of leading negotiations
• Clear, concise communication
