Compliance Officer

📋 Description

• Assist with market abuse surveillance for the energy desk: review alerts, gather the facts from the
• Monitor the branch's regulatory reporting (MiFIR, REMIT, EMIR and position reporting), follow up on
• Advise the desk on new products, venues and trading strategies as part of the new business process
• Maintain the branch compliance framework: policies and procedures, Danish AML obligations, personal
• Support regulator, exchange and audit interaction: venue enquiries, AFM and Danish FSA requests
• Keep our compliance records and tracking in good order so that every decision can be evidenced

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5 years of compliance experience at a trading firm, energy trading company, exchange
• Experience with algorithmic trading controls under RTS 6, for example self assessments, change
• Exposure to trade surveillance or transaction reporting, and an understanding of what good evidence
• Comfortable working with data: you can read a trade file or a report and spot what does not add up.
• Independent judgement. You can push back on a trading desk with a clear rationale and explain your
• Clear, concise communication in English (our working language). Danish or Dutch is a plus.
