Compliance Officer (Regulatory Focus), E-Money & Payments

📋 Description

• Lead European Economic Area (EEA) Electronic Money Institution (EMI) authorization workstreams
• Manage UK EMI regulatory workstreams with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), including
• Develop, maintain, and oversee safeguarding frameworks across EEA and UK regulatory jurisdictions
• Support the implementation and ongoing compliance obligations associated with the existing EU
• Prepare and review regulatory submissions, responses to information requests, formal
• Conduct regulatory assessments of payment products, payment-flow changes, agent and distributor

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in regulatory compliance, authorization, licensing
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with an e-money or payments authorization framework, such as EEA
• Proven ability to personally draft governance and internal control system narratives, regulatory
• Practical experience engaging with a national competent authority or the FCA, including the ability
• Strong expertise in safeguarding requirements, including the development or ownership of
• Working knowledge of EMD2, PSD2, UK electronic money and payment services regulations
