Compounding Pharmacist - Romeoville, IL

📋 Description

• Collaborates with the lead compounding pharmacist to ensure day to day productivity/quality metrics
• Compound and supervise compounding of prescription medications, including mixing and packaging
• Ensure compliance with all applicable compounding policies and procedures, and provide feedback and
• Support audits to ensure all compounding work orders are completed accurately and within a timely
• Support training of new compounding pharmacists and pharmacy technicians
• Collaborate with the PIC to ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal compounding

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy
• Valid pharmacist license in state you will be working in
• Ability to work on site 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday) with rotating weekends
• Extensive knowledge of USP 795, and 800 regulations
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a compounding pharmacy
• Background in sterile compounding preferred
