Container Engineer

📋 Description

• Define and maintain SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets for the container platform; develop policies
• Lead Operational Readiness Reviews (ORRs), establish uptime metrics, improve observability via
• Participate in on-call rotation, respond to incidents, facilitate blameless postmortems, identify
• Build, maintain, and deploy automation, controllers, operators, internal tools, and platform APIs
• Design and improve CI/CD pipelines, rollout mechanisms, and release processes for safe, efficient
• Implement security automation (intrusion detection, remediation, patch management); eliminate toil

🎯 Requirements

• At least five years of experience in platform engineering, Kubernetes or container platform
• Strong expertise in at least one of: container tooling/ecosystem (Kubernetes, containerd, OCI/CRI
• Experience with large-scale multi-tenant systems and understanding of workload isolation
• Confident working with AWS environments including multiple accounts, IAM, and VPC networking.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, preferably Pulumi (Terraform or AWS CDK also
• Practical experience deploying, operating, troubleshooting, and improving Kubernetes-based
