Own the monthly close end-to-end and drive it toward a 5-day, fully reconciled, audit-ready close
Lead the conversion from mixed cash/accrual to full US GAAP accrual accounting across all revenue
Own the chart of accounts and revenue recognition policy, and tie GL entries to source data
Be the primary point of contact for external auditors
Own the tax compliance calendar
Own covenant and borrowing-base reporting

🎯 Requirements

8+ years of progressive accounting experience
Deep US GAAP knowledge
Proven ownership of external audit relationship
Experience in marketplace, fintech, or lending environment
Fluency with QuickBooks, Ramp, Rippling, and SQL/BI
Experience managing outsourced accounting team
