Corporate Accounting

📋 Description

• Own month-end and quarter-end close activities for an assigned set of accounts and entities
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and flux analyses, investigate variances to root cause, and
• Maintain US GAAP supporting schedules and documentation for your areas of ownership, such as
• Draft accounting memos and process documentation for routine and recurring transactions, and
• Execute internal controls for your areas and prepare audit support, including schedules, evidence
• Partner with business owners and finance colleagues to understand new transactions, resolve issues

🎯 Requirements

• Working knowledge of US GAAP, applied hands-on to the monthly close: journal entries, accruals
• Experience preparing account reconciliations and flux analyses in an ERP or general ledger system
• Strong spreadsheet skills, including lookups, pivot tables, and reconciling large data sets in
• Experience supporting external audits and operating internal controls
• Clear written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain accounting results to
• Sound judgment on when to resolve an issue independently and when to escalate it
