Corporate Counsel

📋 Description

• Review, draft and negotiate commercial contracts (licensing, vendor, SaaS, MSA, data privacy).
• Run the contract lifecycle end-to-end, evaluating and implementing AI/automation.
• Counsel on employment law, privacy/data security, consumer protection, IP, and corporate matters.
• Create and implement company-wide templates, policies and processes for scalable systems.
• Drive legal operations: contract management, vendor approvals, and the legal tech stack.
• Manage IP brand protection monitoring and IP portfolio maintenance.

🎯 Requirements

• 4-6+ years of relevant experience at a leading law firm or in-house at a consumer-facing eCommerce business.
• JD admitted, active and in good standing with the New York State bar.
• Significant exposure to sophisticated commercial, corporate or transactional matters.
• Working knowledge of privacy law, including applicable privacy and data security compliance.
• Comfort managing contract management systems, vendor platforms, and process design with an AI focus.
• Ability to assess and balance both legal and business risk.
