Corporate Counsel, Litigation & Employment

📋 Description

• Own the litigation docket (employment, commercial, and other matters) from intake through resolution
• Direct outside counsel on strategy, discovery, motion practice, and settlement
• Handle appropriate matters in-house
• Take on strategic and operational management of the litigation function, ensuring matters are
• Manage the function strategically: prioritization, outside counsel selection and performance
• Counsel HR and Operations on the full range of employment matters: performance, investigations

🎯 Requirements

• 4-6+ years of legal experience, including at least 2 years of hands-on litigation work (discovery
• Litigation experience from a firm, in-house, or government
• Employment counseling experience is valued but not required
• Experience with independent contractor, gig economy, or worker classification issues is a plus
• Exposure to additional practice areas (e.g., commercial contracts, corporate, real estate, product
• JD from an accredited law school
