Counsel, Regulatory Litigation

📋 Description

• Hands-on litigation and pre-litigation dispute work across consumer, regulatory, government
• Advise internal business partners on litigation and regulatory strategy; apply current laws to Lyft
• Provide strategic recommendations to cross-functional teams on regulatory and legal matters.
• Guide departments such as Compliance, Public Policy, Communications, Customer Care, Product
• Oversee outside counsel: guidance, staffing, budgeting, and alignment with Lyft’s legal strategy.

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. from a top-tier law school and active bar membership in at least one state.
• 5+ years civil litigation experience at a mid/large law firm or regulatory agency; in-house
• Experience with regulatory disputes, government investigations, competition matters, and complex or
• Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to see the big picture; autonomous yet collaborative; strong in verbal
