Customs Associate

📋 Description

• Be comfortable completing Belgium Customs declarations to a high standard
• Help to onboard new customers & build operational SOPs.
• Develop operational processes, see a problem, and fix it
• Work with the sales teams to provide high-level guidance on all things customs to prospecting
• Help onboard and mentor new hires
• Think outside the box and find new ways of working that challenge the norm.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of current experience in customs & forwarding.
• A strong knowledge within the Belgium customs market.
• A proven track record of building processes, implementing new ideas and a passion for thinking
• Familiarity with Customs product classification, origin, valuation and the EU tariff.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• A problem solver at heart.
