Data Analyst I (MPSB)

📋 Description

• Maintain technical content for protocols, surveillance definitions, and data collection forms
• Develop and deliver training for healthcare facilities participating in the NHSN Biovigilance
• Respond to user inquiries, provide enrollment assistance, and help participating facilities
• Collaborate with patient safety organizations, quality improvement organizations, and health
• Develop and maintain analysis and reporting capabilities within the surveillance system and
• Manage change requests and implementation activities with the NHSN development team, including

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Public Health, or related field
• 1–2 years of experience in public health data analysis (manipulating, cleaning, analyzing
• Proficiency with statistical and analytical software such as SAS, R, Python, or similar
• Knowledge of data management systems and experience applying data management software
• Understanding of public health research and evaluation principles and methods
• Familiarity with scientific methods relevant to public health data and surveillance
