Data Architect

📋 Description

• Lead the conceptual and technical design, development and optimization of data architecture, from
• Define the cloud data foundation using Azure Databricks, including source onboarding to the raw
• Establish patterns for data modelling, storage, ETL and ELT, APIs and MCP interfaces, and embed
• Own architecture decisions, guide legacy decoupling and migration, and lead architecture
• Work closely with business, engineering, governance and operations teams, maintain architecture

🎯 Requirements

• University degree in computer science, business information systems engineering, natural sciences
• Several years of practical project experience in the conceptual design and implementation of
• Experience includes delivery across on-premises and cloud environments, preferably Azure Databricks
• Strong conceptual data-modelling and practical data-engineering skills, including enterprise data
• Collaborative work style, ownership, and strong analytical, conceptual and stakeholder-management
• Fluent in English; German is advantageous for business-facing work, and travel when required
