Data Engineer Databricks - Banking

📋 Description

• Perform source-to-target data mapping across all banking domains
• Analyze legacy banking systems and define field-level transformation, derivation, and lookup rules
• Facilitate workshops with client business SMEs, product owners, and core banking vendors to
• Ensure mapping coverage for regulatory and compliance fields to maintain reporting continuity
• Drive data profiling, quality assessment, and cleansing strategy to identify gaps, orphan records
• Prepare mapping design; optionally write SQL transformations and create parametrization for DMT

🎯 Requirements

• Understanding of banking products and processes
• Ability to discuss edge cases and exceptions with clients
• Understanding of basic data concepts: primary key, foreign key, reference data, master data, etc..
• SQL knowledge — optional but a strong plus
