Data Engineering Manager

📋 Description

• Lead DataOps within Data Engineering to drive platform reliability.
• Mentor offshore engineering resources with technical guidance.
• Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure data solutions.
• Own intake, prioritization, and execution for DataOps requests.
• Drive adoption of data standards and ETL/ELT governance.
• Serve as operational owner for Airflow, Airbyte, Looker governance.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in data/analytics engineering or related roles
• 2+ years leading technical teams and coordinating offshore/vendor resources
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills, ideally with BigQuery
• Hands-on with Airflow, Airbyte, DBT, or similar orchestration tools
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions; coordinate delivery
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/IS; advanced degree preferred
