Data Governance and Cyber Security Manager

📋 Description

• Build and implement the Data Governance Framework across the GMG and associated contracts
• Set up governance frameworks, forums, and decision-making systems to promote data ownership
• Manage and refine the Data Management Operating Model for GMG and its contracts, aligning to
• Define and monitor governance benchmarks, maturity measures, and compliance reporting.
• Serve as the BI Hub authority on Data Governance, Information Security and Compliance.
• Guide the application of security-by-design principles across BI Hub platforms and services and

🎯 Requirements

• Comprehensive understanding of UK GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018, data and information governance
• Experience implementing governance capabilities within large-scale data, analytics or digital
• Experience establishing data ownership, stewardship, quality, and metadata management frameworks.
• Understanding of risk management, audit, compliance, and assurance procedures.
• Ability to translate complex governance and security requirements into practical business solutions.
• Excellent written, presentation and communication skills.
