Data Platform Engineer

📋 Description

• Design, deploy, and operate data platforms supporting databases, real-time streaming, and data
• Manage cloud-native data services across Kubernetes-based environments and managed services
• Evaluate and prototype new technologies and service providers while ensuring security, compliance
• Apply DevOps and SRE principles to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, deployment
• Develop reusable infrastructure modules, automation workflows, and standardized deployment paths
• Reduce manual operations, repetitive tasks, and technical debt while contributing to the migration

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience operating production databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Valkey, including
• Practical experience with data streaming and real-time processing technologies, particularly Kafka
• Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, including continuous integration and delivery, infrastructure
• Hands-on experience with automation and infrastructure tools such as Python, Bash, Terraform
• Strong SQL skills and experience optimizing database performance through query tuning, indexing
• Operational experience with public cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure.
