Data Scientist, Trust & Safety

📋 Description

• Own the Trust & Safety analytics foundation and metrics.
• Build datasets and dbt models linking events, signals, and actions.
• Develop and evaluate risk models, rules, and anomaly detectors.
• Design offline evaluations, holdouts, and shadow tests.
• Define thresholds balancing abuse reduction and user friction.
• Develop predictive risk models and embed signals into workflows.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or trust & safety.
• Strong SQL and Python; experience with large behavioral datasets.
• Experience building/evaluating predictive models and experiments.
• Turn ambiguous data into clear recommendations; communicate across teams.
• Comfort with imperfect labels, biased samples, high-impact false positives.
• Extensive use of AI tools while maintaining analytical quality.
