Designer (CAD)

📋 Description

• Use CAD software to provide support to engineers by preparing routine layouts, detail drawings
• Meet with Engineers to provide status updates and to explore feasibility and functionality of the
• Design or redesign 3D CAD models, assemblies, and drawings from general written or verbal
• Produce CAD drawings for new or improved products using industry, departmental and discipline
• Participate in engineering design reviews to evaluate design concepts and make recommendations.
• Provide alternative design concepts to meet customer requirements.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate's Degree in Mechanical Drafting (preferred)
• 2-3 years software design work experience
• Mechanical aptitude and basic mathematical calculations
• Experience in mechanical and/or plastic component design in manufacturing environment
• Solid knowledge of drafting and engineering terminology
