Dimensional Engineers

📋 Description

• Own dimensional analysis for the assigned commodity / shop and coordinate dimensional issue
• Review GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), datum strategy, measurement points
• Analyze dimensional variation and identify potential contributors related to product, process
• Lead dimensional problem-solving reviews with relevant cross-functional teams;
• Define, track, and maintain action plans through closure;
• Identify dimensional risks, trends, and priorities;

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in automotive dimensional engineering / dimensional analysis;
• Hands-on experience in at least one of the following areas: BIW / Body in White, Closures
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, datum strategy, tolerances, measurement points, fixtures, and gauges;
• Ability to analyze dimensional variation and identify root causes linked to product, process
• Experience in dimensional problem-solving and action plan follow-up;
• Ability to create and present technical dashboards and dimensional reports;
