Direct Care Worker

📋 Description

• Follow a written plan of care by an RN; provide personal care and companionship.
• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care.
• Provide household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making.
• Meal preparation and feeding; assist with range-of-motion exercises and mobility.
• Ambulation assistance and transfers; use of lifting devices as needed.
• Medication reminders and monitoring.

🎯 Requirements

• Passion for caregiving; desire to help others.
• Dementia experience a plus; training provided.
• Driver's license or ability to travel to client homes; driving preferred.
• Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect.
• Ability to follow a written plan of care and work with a team.
• Excellent communication and reliability.
