Direct Care Worker-DCW

📋 Description

• Provide personal care services following a written plan of care by a registered nurse
• Provide household support such as light housekeeping, laundry, bed making
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and use of mechanical lifting devices
• Provide medication reminders
• Support clients with activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care

🎯 Requirements

• Previous home health care or patient care welcomed, but not required (training provided)
• A passion for caregiving and a desire to help others
• A commitment to being present and providing quality care
• Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect
• Ability to travel to clients' homes as assigned
• Commitment to deliver patient care with compassion, excellence, and reliability (The BAYADA Way)
