Direct Support Professional / DSP

📋 Description

• One-on-one support for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities in State College.
• Help individuals participate in community activities and outings.
• Provide encouragement, mentorship, and meaningful companionship.
• Support personal care needs, including dressing and grooming.
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, and activities.
• Empower individuals to reach goals and increase independence.
• Pay: $17.50/hour; weekly pay; flexible part-time schedules.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 18 years of age
• Experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred
• Ideal for paraprofessionals, special education majors, and behavioral health techs
• Reliable transportation and ability to drive clients
